Student restricted to enter the school on charge of marrying
An eighteen years old girl of standard 10 and 18 years old boy of standard 9 in Satlingeshwor Secondary School of the district was denied of entering the school premises after finding out about their marriage.
The students were deprived of education since 15 days after they were denied of entering the school. Principal Eek Nath Chaulagain said that they were restricted to enter the school premises because they married while they are in the age to study and against the norms of the school.
The students complained that their right to study has been violated by this action. The District Education Officer Dina Nath Gautam said that no formal information has been received at District Education regarding the incident.
