Student Physically Tortured in Hostel; Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Januka Nepali, 27, of Panchakanya Rural Municipality-2, Nuwakot on December 21, 2021, on the charge of physically torturing a six-year-old boy. Januka Nepali has been working as the hostel warden of New Life School.
The victim had been staying in the hostel of New Life School of Pokhara Metropolitan City-15, Galeshwar Chowk. The accused had tied rubber on the genital of the child so that he would not urinate in the bed. DSP Deepak KC of the District Police Office informed that the operator of the hostel had filed a complaint against the accused on December 21.
He added that the accused has been arrested for further investigation.
The treatment of the victim was conducted at the Paschimanchal Regional Hospital on December 21.
