Six Months Imprisonment For The Crime Of Rape
Court sentenced 6 years and 3 months imprisonment to a 15-year-old boy from Ghodaghodi Municipality-9 on October 12, 2023 for the crime of raping a 15-year-old girl.
Chet Bahadur Bohora Branch Officer of District Court, Kailali said that the bench of honorable Judge Om Prasad Aryal, District Court, Kailali found the accused guilty and sentenced him to 6 years and 3 months imprisonment.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at Malakheti, Area Police Office on August 19, 2021 alleging that the accused raped the victim on August 18.
The accused was sent to the Children’s Correctional Home, Banke as per the order of the District Court on September 14, 2021. This action was taken after the police registered a case under harassment in the District Court through the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The health examination of the victim was done at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadi on August 19, 2021.
