Six injured in a clash in Bhimphedi prison
At least six detainees were injured after a clash in “B” block in a Bhimphedi prison on December 28.
The injured are getting treatment at District Hospital of Hetauda. Among the injured, detainee Dibya Shrestha is in serious condition. Other five are receiving treatment in Hetauda.
The jail administration has said that the clash started over the dispute between the guard Ramesh Lama Party and his opponent. Majority of detainees have complained Lama of being discriminating.
Jailer Chiranjibi Thapa has confirmed about the incident in “B” block of the prison.
The “B” block was in operation since two months and there are 371 inmates according to the jail administration.
