Singh Family Support Struggling Children
Karna Bahadur Singh, a resident of Kathmandu Likmarg, and his family provided warm clothes to 11 students of Kalika Basic School located in Galchi Rural Municipality-5.
This support was provided after news regarding the situation of the children of Kalika Basic Scholl was published on INSEC online on January 18, 2023.
The news detailed the struggle for food and clothing of Sunita Ramatel, eight, and other children in the Galchi Rural Municipality-5 Chhahara, who were abandoned by both their parents.
Karna Bahadur Singh, Pajuma Singh, Kamladevi Singh, Kushal Singh, Bimaladevi Bhadel, and Krupi Singh donated clothing worth 28,500 residents to the children.
Bikuntha Adhikari, Principal of the school informed that the family has provided three-set tracksuits, sweaters, woolen caps, shoes, and socks.
Kedarnath Khatiwada, Chairperson of Galchi Rural Municipality, and Ram Prasad Adhikari, member of Ward No. 5, thanked the Singh family for their support to those in dire straits.
