Sexual Harassment Case Adjourned
The District Court has decided to adjourn the case against 25-year-old Rakesh Kumar Chaudary from Mirchaiya Municipality-9, accused of sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl on September 29. The decision was made by the bench of District Court Judge Ishwormani Ojha. The aggrieved party filed a complaint on March 19, 2017, at the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, alleging that the accused had sexually abused the girl on March 18, 2017. The health examination of the victim was done on March 19 at the District Hospital, Siraha.
Although a charge sheet was filed against the accused in the district court on March 16, 2021, and an arrest warrant was issued, the accused has not yet been arrested.
