Sexual Abuse Accused Arrested
Police has arrested Devi Bahadur Bhatta (77) of Barpak Sulkot Rural Muncipality-5, Jafatigau on 11 March 2020, accusing him of sexual abuse on a 12-year old girl.
The girl was returning home from school on 1 March when the Bhatta abused her. Complaint was filed against Bhatta on 10 March. A case of sexual abuse has been filed against Bhatta and investigation is ongoing, informed Inspector Prakash Bhusal of District Police Office, Gorkha.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 11 March 2020.
