Sexual Abuse Accused Arrested
Police has arrested Tsering Lepcha Lama (34) of Sirijunga Rural Municipality- 8 accusing him of sexual abuse on a 10-year-old girl. He was arrested on 5 February.
The accused had been abusing the victim since the past two years and the last time he did it was on 21 December. A verbal complaint was made by the locals at the Area Police Office Tellok.
After a walk of two days, he was taken to the District Police Office on 7 February for a written complaint, informed DSP Gyanendra Phunyal. Health Checkup on the victim was conducted on 6 February at the Area Health Office, Tellok.
