Seven Polling centers tagged as very sensitive
Seven polling centers of the district is tagged to be a very sensitive regarding the security issue according to election office of Dhankuta. According to the office, there are 42 sensitive and 94 normal polling centres in the district.
Those polling centres tagged as very sensitive do not have access of transportation, communication and other services according to the district administration office. The security has been tightened in those areas according to CDO Prem Prakash Uprety.
The district has 117 polling stations and 143 polling centres. The administration said that more than 700 policemen and 600 temporary police has been mobilized in these area. Similarly, armed police force and army also has been deployed.
The district of Dhankuta has four village council and three municipalities with seven local levels. There are 95,367 voters in this district. From tomorrow, the office of the election officers will be established for clean and fair election according to District election officer Pradeep Shah.
