Police have arrested Sujit Yadav, 31, and Ramnath Yadav, 37, of Aurahi Rural Municipality- 1, on the charge of rubbing shoot on the face of Madan Kumar Mahara, 34, the Principal of Ram Janaki Secondary School on June 25. The victim had filed a complaint against the victim on June 27.

The victim Mahara informed that accused had misbehaved with him in the parents’ meeting held to discuss the construction and repairing of the school’s infrastructure under the plans formulated by the Federal and Provincial governments.

According to the victim, the accused also beat up Jito Yadav, an office assistant of the school, while he was trying to save Mahara.

The meeting was held by the principal to discuss the utilization of the budget of NPR 3 million allocated by the province government for educational enhancement and repairment and NPR 3.6 million for the construction of a four-room building under the federal government’s presidential educational reform program. The program was also organised to discuss the improvement of education.

The accused had rubbed shoot on the principal for not forming School Management Committee.

DSP Jitendra Basnet of the District Police Office Dhanusha said that a complaint has been lodged with the police and the incident is being investigated.
