Scarcity of Medicines in Health Post of Rasuwa
The patients going for treatment at the health post of Gatlang of Amachodingmo Rural Municipality-3 have not been able to get easy treatment due to a lack of medicine.
According to the health post, most of the patients visit them with problems of stomach ache, shortness of breath, body aches and chest pain.
Anuj Tamang, a local, said that the health workers used to send back the patients stating that there were no medicines.
Although the government has promised to provide 35 types of medicines free of cost, the patients are in crisis shortage of medicines and there were no nearby dispensaries for medical supplies.
Gatlang Health Post has informed and demanded the rural municipality for medicines, informed Nima Tamang, Chief of Rural Health Branch of Amachodingmo.
