Saline Provided To Hunger Strike Protestor
Saline water has been provided to four protesters of hunger strike after their health condition was deteriorating. The saline water was provided after the urge from Human Rights Defender network.
The network has given saline water to the protestors on September 19 who were staging a third phase of their hunger strike since September 13 at Janakpur Bhittamod in Pipara VDC after a written and verbal agreement.
Leader Ram Kumar Sharma of Naya Shakti Nepal and also a chairperson of Janakpur Region Development Council, Satyandra Yadav of CON-Maoist, R.K Roshan of Madesh Democratic Party and Ranjit Raj Madhesi of Free Madhes Alliance are in hunger strike.
Acting Chief Bhuwan Nath of NHRC regional office and coordinator Rak Kumar Mahaseth of Human Rights Defender, Dhanusha had gathered the information regarding their demand and health condition on September 19.
Ram Kumar Sharma, coordinator of Road Revolutionary Committee accused government and local administration of not taking concern about their demand.
As per their first phase of agitation, a memorandum was handed over to Nepal government through CDOs of Dhanusha and Mahottari. In second phase, awareness program was organized along with obstruction of road.
