Rural Municipality rescues bonded woman
The Chichumma Rural Municipality-6 has rescued 33 years old Ramila Tamang who was locked in a cage for the last one and half years. The victim is suffering from mental illness and was kept in a cage from the last one and half years.
She was locked in a cage from June 28, 2017 and immediately after the rescue she was dent to Kathmandu with her husband for treatment according to Rural Municipality chief Bhupendra Rai.
She was rescued after the victim revealed through face book that she is not suffering from mental illness.
The overall treatment cost of the victim will be covered by the Rural Municipality according to Chief Rai. She was kept in the cage after she started to show some violent activities in the village according to her husband ani Kumar Tamang.
