With the recent increase in the number of patients at the district hospital, many are now required to purchase medicine from private medical clinics. Senior Auxiliary Nurse Midwife Sarita Bohra from the district hospital stated that when the number of seasonal cold patients rises, the hospital struggles to manage the influx. Bohora mentioned that with the rise in seasonal patients, there is also a shortage of beds at the hospital. According to Bohora, when the number of admitted patients exceeded the 15-bed capacity of the district hospital for a week, some patients had to be placed in the maternity ward and other available wards. Due to the rising number of patients seeking treatment, some who were discharged had to be readmitted.

The increase in patients, caused by weather changes during the rainy season, has led to a shortage of beds at the hospital. Dr. Sunil Pujara noted that most patients visiting the district hospital are suffering from seasonal colds and fevers, with fever being more common among children at this time. The hospital is treating around 150 patients daily, primarily those with fever, diarrhea, pneumonia, and gastric problems.

Patients visiting the district hospital have come from various Rural Municipalities, including Thehe, Dajam, Dandafaya, Dharapori, Burause, Bargaon, Yanchu, Maja, Chhipra, and others around the headquarters. Due to the rising number of patients at the hospital, many are forced to purchase medicine from private medical facilities, according to Aeton Rawal, a beneficiary. He shared that when his son was taken to the district hospital with a high fever, he had to buy medicine from a private medical center.
