Rescued Children Handed Over To the Family

Four children who were duped by an agent have been rescued on September 6 from Majhafarpur, Bihar of India and handed over to their families in Lahan.

Children from Sothiyain VDC-4 were handed over to their family to their family in presence of Pawan Kumar Gupta, administrative office of Area Police Office of Lahan, DSP Raj Kumar KC of Lahan, INSEC district representative Durga Pariyar and media personnel.

Pawan Kumar Sadaya,10 of Sothiyain VDC-4, Sanjeev Kumar Mukhiya,12, Niraj Kumar Sadaya and 13 years old Dinesh Sadaya were handed over to their family. The children were rescued in joint coordination with Dalit protection campaign forum, local administration of Majhafarpur and children home.

Program manager Sudeh Bhagat of the forum said that the children were taken to Mumbai by an agent Akabar Seikh of Kamalpur, Jayanagar of India, year ago for lower labor work.. They were rescued by Mumbai police and were kept at child home for about six months before handing over to Nepal.

Surya Narayan Ram, a program coordinator of Forum said that children were rescued after getting information.
