Registration of nomination commences in Province number 3, 4 and 6
Out of 744 local levels nationwide, the registration of nomination has been commenced in 283 local levels of three provinces of 34 districts for the upcoming election on May 14 as per RSS.
The election commission has given time from 10 to 5 pm today, for the registration of candidacy. Various political parties have begun to register their candidacy for the Metropolitan city, sub-metropolis, municipality and village council of provinces 3, 4 and 6.
This historical election will fulfill the vacuum of representatives which was vacant for almost two decade.
The election commission has a faith that the people will enjoy the benefit of democracy through this election. The first phase of election will be held in Sindhuli, Rammechap, Rasuwa, Dhading, Makwanpur, CHitwan, Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur under province number 3. Similarly, under province number 4, the election will be conducted in Gorkha, Manang, Mustang, Myagdi, Baglung, Parbat, Syangja, Tanahu, Kaski and some parts of Nawalparasi. Under the province number 6, the election will be conducted in 11 district in Humla, Kalikot, Dolpa, Jumla, Dailekh, Mugu, Jajarkot, Surkhet, Salyan and some parts of Rukum.
