Raped Accused Arrested
Police have arrested a 21-year-old relative from Bhotekoshi rural municipality-4 on 24 June 2020 in accusation of raping a 14-year-old girl.
The victim has been staying with her elder sister and was raped on 22 June 2020 and the complaint was filed on 24 June at the Area Police Office.
In a meeting with INSEC’s representative, the victim informed that she was raped by the same person previously as well. The victim was prepared to be taken to the safe house but since the safe house asked for a PCR report, the victim is still with her elder sister.
According to the DSP Madhav Prasad Kafle of District Police Office, a health checkup was conducted at the Primary Health Centre of Bahrabise on 24 June but there hasn’t been any kind of corona test.
