Rape Case Adjourned in Siraha
The District Court has decided to adjourn the rape case against Rabin Mukhiya, 19, of Arnama Rural Municipality-1 on November 12, 2024. Rabin has been accused of raping a 16-year-old girl and is currently absconding. The decision was made by the single bench of District Court Judge Ishwarmani Ojha. The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Siraha, on 27 June 2023 alleging that the accused had raped the girl on 20 May.
Although a charge sheet was filed against the accused in the district court along with an arrest warrant on May 15, the accused has not been arrested.
The health examination of the victim was done on 27 June at Siraha Provincial Hospital.
