Rape Attempt Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Bipad Pasi (37) of Maharajgunj municipality-3 Jamuni on 26 June, in accusation of attempting to rape a 20-year-old woman.
The accused had attempted to rape the victim on 6 August 2017 and the complaint was filed on 7 August 2017 at the District Police Office. The accused had absconded after that, informed SI Pramod Bohora to INSEC’s representative in a phone conversation.
The district court had declared imprisonment of two years, six months and four days on 20 September 2018.
A health checkup of the victim was conducted on 6 August 2017 at the District Hospital of Taulihawa.
