Rape accused arrested
Police have arrested 45 years old Yam Prasad Chalise of Birendranagar Municipality-14 on March 27 on charge of raping 74 years old woman.
The victim’s party had lodged a complaint at temporary police post in Gothikanda on March 27 against the accused for raping her on March 26.
The accused was arrested based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s family according to the DSP Shyam Singh Chaudhary of DPO. On March 27 the victim underwent a health checkup according to the police.
