Rape Accused Arrested
Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy of Sindhuli temporarily residing in Suryabinayak Municipality-2, Balkot of Bhaktapur on December 7, 2021, on the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl.
According to DSP Narhari Regmi, the victim’s mother had lodged a complaint at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi on December 6 alleging that the accused had raped the victim on December 5.
The accused had absconded after raping the victim, and he was arrested from Tikathali in Lalitpur, added DSP Giri.
The girl was examined at Bhaktapur Hospital on December 6.
