Accused of Rape Arrested
Police have arrested Amal Ghale, 28, of Kwaholasothar Rural Municipality-3 on September 28, 2021, on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl.
According to DSP Krishna Bahadur Karki of the District Police Office, Lamjung, the victim has lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Lamjung on April 14.
She shared that the incident did not come out as the accused had threatened her.
The accused was arrested on the same day following a complaint by the victim and the incident is being investigated.
The victim underwent a medical examination at the District Community Hospital on September 29.
