Rape Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Bishnu Sunar, 22, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan-11 on September 17, 2021, on the charge of gang-raping a 14-year-old girl.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Tulsipur on September 16 alleging that the accused had gang-raped her at a hotel in Sitalpur on September 12. According to DSP Shyamu Aryal of Tulsipur Area Police Office, another accused of the incident Umesh BK, 23, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan-11 is absconding.
The victim was examined at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur on September 15.
