Rape Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Chandramani Pandey,65, of Buddhabhumi Municipality-3, Dubiya on August 17, 2021, on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl.
According to DSP Dharmaraj Bhandari of the District Police Office, the victim was raped on August 16 and she had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Gorusinge on the same day. She was raped in a community forest. He further added that the incident was under investigation.
The victim was examined at Kapilvastu Hospital on August 16.
