Rape Accused Arrested
Police have arrested a 37-year-old father and 32-year-old uncle on August 6, 2021, on the charge of raping an 11-year-old girl.
DSP Prakash Dahal of the District Police Office, Gorkha said that the victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Gorkha on August 6 alleging that her father had raped her for the past two years and her uncle had raped her in November 2020.
DSP Dahal also informed that the victim fell ill from the month of April after which the incident was exposed and the accused were arrested immediately. A case was filed against them on August 8 at the District Court Gorkha and an investigation has begun.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted on August 6.
