Rape Accused Arrested
Police have arrested 32-year-old Dipen Rai also known as Shilas, of Thulungdudhkoshi Rural Municipality-7 on July 26, 2021, on the charge of raping a 30-year-old woman.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on July 19 accusing Rai of her on July 14. The accused, who absconded after the complaint was filed, was arrested for investigation on July 26, said Inspector Hrishi Raj Dhakal of the District Police Office.
The health examination of the victim was conducted at the District Hospital on July 19.
