Rape Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Dharmaraj Kanu, 25, of Pipra in Bahudarmai Municipality-2 on July 14, 2021, on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl on June 28.
The accused had lured her with an offer of marriage and job but instead had raped her in Sakhuwa Prasani Rural Municipality-4.
The victim’s father said that a complaint was lodged against the accused at the District Police Office, Parsa on July 14.
The girl was examined at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj on July 14. DSP Omprakash Khanal of District Police Office Parsa informed that further investigation is ongoing about the incident.
