Rape Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Lakhichan Sadaya, 18, of Sakhuwanankarkatti Rural Municipality-3 on July 11, 2021, on the charge of raping a seven-year-old girl.
The victim was raped on July 11. The victim’s mother informed that she had lodged a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Lahan on the same day.
The girl has been examined at Ram Kumar Umaprasad Memorial Hospital in Lahan on July 11.
The victim was taken to BP Koirala Academy of Health Sciences for further treatment and her mother has requested financial assistance due to their futile economic condition.
The accused was arrested and the incident is being investigated, said DSP Dr Tapan Kumar Dahal of Area Police Office, Lahan.
