Rape Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Basanta Damai, 32, of Baiteshwor Rural Municipality-4, a temporary resident of Bhaktapur Municipality-9, Chokha on June 27, 2021, on the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl.
The victim was raped on June 27 and her mother filed a complaint on the same day at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Jagati, informed DSP Deepak Giri.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted on June 27 at Bhaktapur Hospital.
