Rape Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Bijay BK, 21, of Malika Rural Municipality-5 Devisthan on the charges of raping an 11-year-old girl.
The victim was raped on April 27, 2021, and the complaint was filed on May 2 at the District Police Office.
The absconding accused was arrested on May 9, informed Inspector Daktar Prasad Chaudhary to the INSEC representative in a phone conversation.
The accused was presented to the District Court on May 10 and the investigation is ongoing.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted on May 2, 2021, at Beni Hospital, informed Prakash Subedi, Information Officer.
