Rape Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Ganesh Bogati, 20, of Dandakharka Rural Municipality-8 in Sindhuli district on March 20 on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl.
The victim’s mother had lodged a complaint against the accused at Changunarayan Municipality-9 on March 18 alleging that he had raped the girl on March 9.
According to DSP Deepak Giri of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Bhaktapur, the accused Bogati was arrested from Sudal and remanded in custody for five days by the District Court, Bhaktapur.
The victim has undergone medical examination at Thapathali Maternity Home on March 18.
