Rape Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Kedar Prasad Devkota, 87, of Gandaki Rural Municipality-4 on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl.
The victim was raped on February 27. According to SP Surendra Gurung of the District Police Office, Gorkha, the victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Gorkha on February 28.
He informed that the accused was arrested on the same day after the complaint of the victim and a case was registered against the accused in the District Court, Gorkha.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Gorkha Hospital on February 28.
