Rape Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Kamal Rasaili, 32, of Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality-8 in accusation of raping a 22-year-old woman.
The victim was raped on February 11, 2020 and the complaint was filed on August 29, 2020 at the Police Station of Lukla.
The accused was arrested immediately on August 29, 2020 from his residence after the complaint was filed, informed Inspector Mandeep Chauhan to INSEC Representative in a phone conversation.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted on August 31, at the District Hospital. The health checkup showed that the victim was pregnant.
