Pre-Election Monitoring by CCCE campaigner
The campaigners of Citizen’s Campaign for Clean Election (CCCE) have conducted a pre-election monitoring in Dhanusha on September 17 on the eve of third phase of local level election.
The campaigner and co-chair of CCCE duo Subodh Raj Pyakurel of INSEC and Indra Aryal of HURON including INSEC regional coordinator Krishna Gautam, INSEC Documentation head Madan Paudel have conducted the monitoring in various polling stations in Lalgadh.
During the monitoring the experience sharing was conducted with polling officers and security personnels.
In polling station at MA BI Lalgadh, the monitoring team has found that there are 1097 female and 1017 male voters. There are 480 people left to be receiving voters ID card according to the election officers assigned.
The monitoring leader and CCCE campaigner Subodh Raj Pyakurel said that the preparation for polling is good. He added that there is a management of tent for the voters to save them from hot weather which is a good part. He said that such management is needed in other polling stations too.
