Polygamy Victim Seeking For Justice
Kamala Yogi, 32 of Kudari VDC-6, Rautbadi has come to the district headquarter seeking for the justice on polygamy.
The victim has accused her 35-year-old husband of marrying Asha Mahat, 20 of Chandanath Municipality-7 on August 18. The accused has been living with his second wife in a district headquarter since then.
INSEC Mid-western regional office said that the victim had pleaded for the justice after meeting INSEC district representative Mandatta Rawal.
Kamala said that her three children are in crisis after her husband stopped looking after her. She said “ If she gets partition of property from her husband, she will not lodge a case however if not, she will lodge a case against him demanding the partition of the property .”
Chairman, Bhagwati Shrestha of Alternative Women Service Center, Jumla said that two parties will be summoned for discussion and complaint against polygamy will be lodge.
