Poll running smoothly in Four Districts under province 7 ( Update 12:00 AM)
According to Kalikot District Representative Kali Bahadur Malla there was a clash reported between police and cadres of Nepal Communist Party.
The clash started at Murma Gaun of Shanti Triveni Rural Municipality on November 25 at about 10 PM where two policemen and two cadres of Nepal Communist Party were injured according to Kalikot District Secretary Mani Lal Aidi of Nepal Communist Party.
According to him NCP cadres Tan B.K and Mahendra Shahi were injured in police firing. Similarly, police SI Giri Raj Bhandary and policeman Ram Chaudhary was injured however DSP Subash Chandra Bohara denied about the incident.
The election process at Thigeli Basic School polling center at Murma Gaun could not move forward till 11 am due to the damage at the polling center due to the clash at night according to polling Officer Nanda Devkota. In other polling centers of the district, the election is running smoothly.
According to Bajura District representative Padam Singh, in 70 polling stations and 100 polling centers in Bajura, the poll begin on scheduled time.
In all polling centers and constituencies security has been tightened according to CDO Luk Bahadur Chettri.
In Baitadi, polling begin at 7 Am in all 182 polling center according to the election office.
Until afternoon, in all polling centers, the voting process is running smoothly without any disruption. In this district there are 67,846 women voters, 64,471 male and 2 third gender voters.
Huge number of security force have been deployed for the security of the election.
According to the Darchula District representative Narendra Singh Karki, in 129 polling centers, the voting process begin on time according to District Election Office.
In district headquarter of Khalanga, two hoax bombs were found to terrorize voters which was disposed by army. Apart from that, in all polling centers, voting process is running smoothly.
According to Ramesh KC of Bajhang, polling begin in all 131 polling stations and 156 polling centers on time according to District Polling Office.
