Political parties violates Code of Conduct

The political parties of the district have directly violated their own commitment of not using children in any election related activities.

Various political parties have used the majority of the school premises in Naugad Village council for election assembly against their commitment.

The District Education Office has already circulated a notice to the political parties not to use children or schools for their election or political activities however the process has not been stopped.

On June 9, CPN Maoist centre has used Bhumi Raj Primary School and Nepali Congress has used Ganesh Binayak High School for their election assembly. Along with the approaching date of second phase of election, the political parties have expedited the election activities in schools by taking verbal permission from the schools.

Meanwhile a complaint against Nepali Congress and CPN Maoist Centre has been lodged at office of the election officer on charge of violating a code of conduct by using schools at Naugad Village council. The chief election officer said that action will be taken against those party after the investigation.
