Political Parties shows commitment to follow election code of conduct
The major political leaders committed not to use children during local level election and include the issue of child protection in their manifesto according to RSS.
The leaders from various political parties have shown their group solidarity on not using children during their election campaign. They show their commitment while speaking at the program organized by Child protection advocacy campaign on April 18 in Kathmandu. On behalf of the campaign, Krishna Subedi and Yuv Raj Ghimire handed over the 19-points recommendation letter to leaders.
CPN UML secretary Pradeep Gyawali said that the party is serious about the protection of child rights.
He added that the local level will ensure the child rights and said that the issue of child development will be included in their manifesto.
Parliamentarian and leader of Nepal Congress, Bhimsen Das Pradhan said that the party will not allow to be member under 16 years age.
He added that the party is serious about the child rights and will raise the issue of child rights in their manifesto.
