intimidation Allegation on Police inspector
The victim’s party of journo Birendra Acharya of Himalaya Times Daily and Tilanews Online of Shubhakali Rural Municipality-4 have accused inspector Devendra Malla of DPO of man handling and misbehaving the victim.
Victim Acharya said that he was misbehaved by the inspector while he was collecting news in District Police Office on September 6.
The Federation of journalists on September 7 released a press statement and condemned the incident.
The press release signed by the chair Manika Bohara of the federation has demanded the action against the inspector for his misbehavior on journo.
However, inspector Malla reacted that he only pushed the journo and did not know that he was a journo. DSP Binod Sharma said that he was not in the office during the incident and committed to investigate the incident.
