Police Complaint Against Accused of Rape
The aggrieved party filed a complaint against 22-year-old Santosh Archaya of Diktel Rupakot Mazhuwagadhi Municipality-1 on the charge of crime of rape of a 17-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed complaint against the accused in the police on October 1, alleging that the accused had raped the victim on September 16, 2023.
Inspector Tikaraj Baral of the District Police Office said that due to the late filing of the complaint, the accused absconded and the search is going on.
The health examination of the victim girl was conducted at the district hospital on October 4.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint against 22-year-old Kiran Rai of Halesi Tuwachung Municipality-7 on October 2 on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl on March 30, 2022.
Inspector Tikaraj Baral of the District Police Office said that due to the late filing of the complaint, the accused absconded and the search is going on.
The health examination of the victim girl was done at the District Hospital on October 3.
The police have started an investigation into the cases and also the cause for the delay in filing the complaints late.
