Police Attacked by CPN (Biplov)’s Cadres
Police has informed of being attacked by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplov) led CPN’s cadres whilst on their way to arrest their District Leader on 1 January’s afternoon.
Two policemen headed in civil attire to arrest Bajra Bahadur Shahi of Panchapuri Municipality-8 were attacked near Shahi’s house by the cadres. They did firing when they saw those two.
In response to it, the police also did two rounds of firing, informed District Police Office, Surkhet’s SP Dilli Raj Pant.
He added- ‘They had a team of ten including Shahi. Since they stepped back after the Police’s firing, nobody was injured and there wasn’t any physical destruction.’
District Police Office Surkhet informed that Nepal Army had defused the explosives placed at Bheriganga Municipality and Birendranagar Municipality-11 Pipira’s Ncell Tower kept by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplov) led CPN’s cadres on 2 January.
