Police Arrested Accused of Killing Senior Citizen Mother
Police arrested Bishwabandhu Thapa, 54, Panauti Municipality-11 Balthali, on 12 April 2023, on the charge of killing his mother, Kanchimaya Thapa, 94, at home.
According to District Police Office Kavre DSP, Dhundiraj Neupan, the woman was hit on the head with a sharp weapon and seriously injured. She was taken to Shir Memorial Hospital in Banepa for immediate treatment. She died on 12 April 2023.
The body has been kept at Dhulikhel Hospital for post-mortem.
