Police arrested a man on charge of attempting to kill after rape
Police have arrested 50 years old Ramsharan Nepali of Bidur Municipality-3, Pipaldada on December 12 on charge of attempting to kill 57 years old woman after rape.
The victim was raped by an accused on December 11 and was pushed from the cliff with the intention to kill her according to DSP Bhim Lal Bhattarai of DPO.
The injured woman was rescued and rushed to the district hospital by the locals and further referred to Kathmandu Trauma Centre.
She underwent health checkup on December 11 and police have arrested the man and charged him for attempting to kill after rape.
