Police accused of beating construction entrepreneur
Police SI Bhim Thebe has been accused of beating 35 years old construction entrepreneur Rabindra Lawati of Hilihang Rural Municipality-6.
The victim’s family accused him of beating him during a dispute between two people near the office of Rural Municipality.
SI Thebe however denied of accusation and said that he was controlled after the victim attacked him. The locals said that SI Thebe had controlled the victim and beaten him.
The victim sustained several bruises over his body and receiving treatment at District Hospital in Panchthar.
The victim was arrested by the police on July 1. Both of them are controlled for the investigation according to DSP Narendra Kunwar. He added that the policeman will be charged if found guilty.
