People in Rural area are deprived of consuming clean and healthy food
The people in rural area are deprived of consuming clean and healthy food as date expired foods were sold in these area during the festive season. People were deprived of healthy and clean food due to the lack of routine monitoring by the local administration.
Prabhunidhi Pant, chairperson of consumer welfare and protection forum said that people in these area are deprived in consuming clean and healthy food as expired foods are being sold openly in the district headquarter including Belauri and Sisaiya.
The District Administration Office does some monitoring however there is no monitoring at all in rural area which has motivated black marketing and selling of expired foods according to Pant.
Bhagwati Thapa, member of monitoring committee under the District Administration Office of Kanchanpur said that market monitoring is undergoing however regular monitoring will be operated in near future so that the people do not have to be deprived of consuming clean and health food.
