Patients Facing Difficulties due to the lack of Doctors and Medicine
The locals said that they are facing difficulties due to the shortages of health professionals and medicine at Barai Health Post.
The health post at Barai VDC which was established 25 years ago is facing shortages in doctors and medicines according to local Ram Raj Shahi. He said that there is only one office helper working at health post.
Acting chief Dhruba Singh of Public health office said that there are posts for one Health Assistant, one auxiliary nurse and one helper. He said that the chief Rata Raskoti of Barai Health Post is on holiday and will resume his office after Tihar.
Local Dhana Bahadur Aide said that the patients with throat infection,viral fever and other ailment is increasing. The health post has only Citamol, he said.
