Patients facing Difficulties Due to Lack of Health post Building
Patients at Chattar Okhre VDC are facing difficulties due to the lack of health-post building. They are facing difficulties as health post do not have its own building according to assistant health worker Tej Bahadur Bhandari. He said that the patients are compelled to get treatment in the floor due to overcrowded patients from Sudap and Okhre VDC .
Locals have discussed and complained about the issue however there has been no solid decision taken yet. Health assistant Bhandari said that the health service has been operated from small house with two rooms.
The building was made by locals 20 years ago which is in a critical state due to the earthquake. “The building should be made as per the government criterion however we are compelled to operate the service against the criteria”, he said.
The locals have donated land to make health post however it is not initiated said local Dolan Tigela.
The government has announced to provide health services in villages however due to the lack of building, locals are deprived from health services.
Chum lal Das, chief of District Health Office said that initiation has been taken to construct the building. If the building is made more than five thousand people will be benefitted by the health services.
