Patients facing difficulties as reconstruction of District Hospital delayed
Patients of the district are facing difficulties as the re-construction of District hospital is delayed after the devastating earthquake three years ago.
The hospital which was damaged during the decade long armed conflict was re constructed eight years ago and it was again damaged by the earthquake in 2015.
The hospital had operated its service for three months in Chautara Tundikhel under the tent. Patients are compelled to get service still in the fabricated shelters made by donors according to chief doctor Pomawati Thapa.
According to Thapa, there is no space to keep patients and the place is very congested.
The health ministry has a plan to give re construction contract however the process has not been initiated yet.
