Patient Rescued After INSEC’s Initiative

Ram Sing Budha (40) of Kharpunath Rural Municipality-3 Raya was rescued on 8 May after the reference of INSEC. He was severely injured by a falling rock while he had taken the cattle to graze on 3 May.

After the incident, Budha’s lungs has water filled in it and the District Health Service Office has referred him to go to out of the district for checkup. Since no one had paid attention towards rescuing the patient, a verbal request was made by the Deputy Chairperson of Kharpunath Municpality- Rupa Shahi to INSEC on 7 May.

Immediately after the request, INSEC’s representative Nanda Singh has informed regarding his condition to the CDO of Humla; Binita Bhattarai. After this a reference letter was sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs. Budha was brought to the Provincial Hospital of Surkhet via Sita Air on 8 May.

According to Budha’s relative Tek Bahadur Budha, his health condition has some improvement.
