The detainees in police custody of District Police Office are facing  difficulties in management due to the over crowd.

The custody is in poor condition having capacity to accommodate only five male and five female detainees. However, there are 15 male and five female in the detention center including two dependent children.

Detainee Krishna Bahadur Shahi complained that they have to live inside the custody as an animal. There is not enough space to sleep for them.

DSP Yogendra Khadka said that the District Police Office building has cracked in a devastating earthquake last year and it is very risky. He added that they are facing acute problem in sleeping at night.
